2000
(April) The company launched two new technically advanced leathers; Pittards Armortan® - a new abrasion resistant leather for the outdoor and the racing markets- and Pittards MicrospikeTM - a new anti-microbial treated leather for both the performance footwear and gloving markets.
(August) Ian Stark and the British Equestrian Team won silver medals at the Sydney Olympics. Ian was using the special lightweight saddle, which had been specially designed for the Olympic games.
2001
(June) Team Spirit, Pittards' sponsored boat in the Global Challenge Boat Race, sped into Southampton Waters in second place on the final leg.
2002
(Feb) Pittards announced new sponsorship with Jeanette Brakewell, member of the British 3 day eventing Team who won a Silver medal from the Sydney Olympics 2000.
(Nov) Pittards plc was chosen as the overall Exporter of the Year 2002 at the International Business Awards, organised by Trade Partners UK and Export Times.
2003
(April) Pittards launched PARADOS, a unique chemical and acid resistant leather, specially developed for the military, riot police, fire fighters and high-tech industrial sectors.
(June) Pittards was named Innovator of the Year in the Royal Bank of Scotland Sunday Times Awards 2003.
(June) Pittards launched CADPAT, a new camouflage pattern leather with infrared absorption benefits, specially engineered for the Canadian DND, using Pittards latest technology Computer Image Generation (CIG).
2004
(Mar) Jason Robinson who achieved super star status after scoring the only try in England's triumphant Rugby World Cup final against Australia, visited Leeds factory and was presented with a new pair of rugby boots.
(Oct) Pittards participated at the Meet in Africa leather event in Addis Ababa which itself coincided with the meeting of Prime Minister, Tony Blair's, European Commission for Africa whose central message was to help Africa to help itself. Pittards was able to present its work in partnership with Ethiopia to politicians from the UK and Ethiopia, including Blair, and emphasized its contribution to achieving the commission's goals.
(Nov) Samples of Pittards' latest CIG derived patterning 'Desert Camo' were rushed to the gulf for troops stationed in Iraq-a successful trial later resulting in a bulk tender in a brand new category of glove.
2005
(Mar) Pittards signed an historic Memorandum of Understanding with its long standing partner Ethiopia Tannery Share Company to form a joint venture.
(Dec) Consultation period was announced on the future of the Leeds site, which would ultimately lead to the transfer of production to Yeovil and to a licensee in Asia.
2006
(Mar) Company signed Licensing agreement for footwear leathers with partner Teh Chang. Pittards announced plans to relieve burden of pension fund deficit.
(May) CVA and new share allocation was approved by shareholders allowing the company to focus again on its core leather making strengths and throw off uncertainty over corporate financial future.
(June) Sale of Leeds site was announced, significantly reducing borrowing and consequent interest charges.
(October) Work began in earnest on volume production of cowside leather in Yeovil.
2007
(January) Transfer of crusting operations from Yeovil to Ethiopia Tannery Share Company was completed.
2008
(March) Pittards launched lightweight aviation leather with partner Yarwood's at Hamburg aviation interiors show.
(November) Pittards acquired Walsall based leather goods manufacturer Daines and Hathaway.
2009
(January) Keratan abrasion resistant leather was launched at Outdoor Retailer Show.
(June) Daines and Hathaway was re-launched at Pulse show at Earl's Court.
(September) Designer James Long featured Pittards leather and Daines and Hathaway leathergoods at London Fashion Week.
(December) HRH The Princess Royal visited Pittards as President of UK fashion and Textiles and opens new Marketing Suite.

2010
(February) James Long's latest catwalk show again heavily featured Pittards leathers and Daines and Hathaway products.
(March) Ethiopia Tannery Share Company was nominated Global 'Tannery of the Year' by World Leather Magazine at dinner in Hong Kong during the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF).
(May) Pittards received UK Fashion and Textile award for Export Achievement.
(August) At baseball's All-Star games in the USA both MVP Players were wearing Franklin baseball batting gloves in Pittards leather
(September) Design and prototyping centre was established at Yeovil for leathergoods and garment collections
2011
(January) Daines and Hathaway leathergoods collection maked debut at the Market Show in New York with new agent for the USA, Bird Dog Group
(February) England's cricket team secured a famous Ashes series win in Australia with centurion Matt Prior one of the players wearing Pittards leather in his cricket gloves.
(August) Pittards own brand leather garment collection debuts at PURE in London
