S D Boyd, BSc Hons, Chairman †*
Stephen Boyd (57) joined the Group in September 2004 as Deputy Executive Chairman, and in December 2004 became the Executive Chairman. Stephen became non-executive Chairman on 10 December 2007. A chemical engineer by training, he has worked in a number of manufacturing industries, including five years as Group Chief Executive of Capital Industries plc. He now owns a number of companies from plastic injection moulding to building materials businesses.
L M Cretton, BA Hons, non-executive †*
Louise Cretton (50) joined the Group as a non-executive director in April 2001. She is Managing Director of Market Evaluer, a marketing agency, and a former director of McCann Erickson.
R H Hankey, FSLTC, LCGI, FCMI, CDipAF
Reg Hankey (51) was appointed to the board in January 1998 having joined the Group as Technical Director of the Yeovil Division in 1990. He was appointed Chief Executive on 19 July 2006. He is a non-executive director of the British Leather Confederation.
J Williams, LLB, ACA, Secretary
Jill Williams (49) joined the Group as Finance and Planning Manager in 1989. She became Company Secretary in 1991, Human Resources Director in 2002 and joined the Group Board on 2 November 2005. She became Finance Director on 1 June 2007. She is Chairman of the Somerset panel of the Princes Trust Business Programme.
