What is ISO 14001?
ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised specification for an effective, structured environmental management system which helps organisations achieve environmental and economic goals as well as assisting in the implementation of environmental policy.

Pittards Glove Leather Division successfully achieved certification of its environmental management system to the standard in December 1997. Pittards Shoe and Leathergoods Division successfully achieved certification of their environmental management systems to the standard in January 2000.
