Pittards Makes a Stitch in Time for Local Olympian

Yeovil leathermaker Pittards has come to the rescue of local Olympian Peter Wilson in lending its design and stitching expertise to his all important shooting vest in the run up to the Olympics. Glanvilles Wootton based Peter will be representing team GB in the Double Trap shooting events scheduled to take place at the shooting venue in Woolwich, London on August 2nd. He decided to call in to Pittards Sherborne road facility on the off chance that they might help tailor his new shooting vest to his precise needs – a question of achieving the right balance of carefully placed padding and careful stitching to ensure that he can focus on targets without discomfort. Pittards design centre team – more used to fashion garments and luxury leather goods – were able to help and so, fresh from the recent shooting World Cup and a World record event score of 198 out of 200 points, Peter heads off now to further coaching sessions in Dubai where his coach is based prior to the big event.
